净水厂设计规模：20万m3/d，分二期建设，其中一期规模10万m3/d，二期新增10万m3/d。净水厂一二期总占地面积79940m2（合119.91亩）。
一期工程新建净水厂一座：常规处理构筑物处理规模为10万m3/d，重庆市众多水厂的多年运行经验和生活饮用水卫生标准的逐步提高，拟采用常规处理+深度处理相结合的处理流程，采用工艺：前臭氧接触池→配水混合井→折板絮凝平流沉淀池→气水反冲洗滤池→调节水池→提升泵房→后臭氧接触池→活性炭滤池→清水池→送水泵房→配水管网。絮凝剂采用聚合氯化铝，消毒采用二氧化氯。
废水回收及污泥处理系统处理规模为20万m3/d，预留深度处理及二期工程场地。辅助生产建筑如综合楼、加药间、仓库、机修间等，土建按二期20万m3/d规模建设，设备按一期10万m3/d规模配套。
